The Graduate Center is a focal point for numerous student services such as admissions, financial aid and registration. The building includes computing labs, instructional space, student meeting rooms and faculty offices. A two-story atrium welcomes visitors, providing an interactive environment where students and faculty can meet informally. In the future, the roof will be used as an engineering laboratory where students can study renewable energy sources.
The building is LEED certified. It’s high performance sustainable design will reduce the College’s carbon footprint through geothermal heating and cooling, high efficiency lighting and the use of sustainable building materials.
